A major milestone for Cescco2 and the future of advanced plastic recyclin

After three years of intensive development, we have finally commissioned our scCO₂-assisted melt filtration extruder — a major milestone for Cescco2 and the future of advanced plastic recycling.

At Cescco2, our first and primary focus is PVC — one of the most challenging yet important polymers to recycle at high quality. By applying supercritical CO₂ (scCO₂) in melt filtration, we enable deeper decontamination, improved filtration efficiency and higher-value PVC recyclates.

At the same time, this technology is not limited to PVC. We see strong potential for other complex and filled polymers where conventional melt filtration reaches its limits.

This achievement reflects the convergence of deep engineering, applied science and circular ambition, supported by our research collaborations and our belief that real sustainability requires real technology.

Today we switch on. Tomorrow we scale.
